Joseph Geraghty, Founder

A transformational coach dedicated to breakthrough results for entrepreneurs.

Joseph is an experienced and highly qualified HR Management Development specialist. With particular expertise in Emotional Intelligence (EI) as it relates to business, lifestyle coaching and peak performance. His skill is to see client problems as potential breakthrough solutions.

Education

He has a BA Honours Degree in Human Resource Management Development from Liverpool University. His other qualifications include: Fully certified business coach, accredited EI coach, NLP and EFT practitioner.

Experience

HR Consultant Geraghty Consulting  1992 2004 (12 years) As a corporate trainer in Germany where his natural entrepreneurial skills were successfully used in business turnarounds and start-ups throughout Europe. He also became a well known and respected motivational speaker in International business circles.

National Marketing Director National Safety Associates 1982 1992 (10 years). Developed 8,000 strong European sales force: England, Germany, France, and Belgium. Direct sales.

In 2004 he returned with his wife Helen to the hometown of Loughrea, Co. Galway where, having built up a strong client base, they launched the School of Mastery in 2004. Joseph has spent a lifetime successfully empowering individuals and organisations to find breakthrough solutions to peak performance and sustainable growth.

Helen Geraghty, Director

Helen is co-founder of the School of Mastery and is responsible for the sister company a language enterprise Business-English-Plus which she launched in Germany in 2002 and then later upgraded on their return to Ireland to offer residential courses for European business people. Her earlier career began in Dublin where she worked in the Public Relations and Communications sector, first with the Irish Dairy Board and later with the Leinster Society of Chartered Accountants.

Her dream was realised when she got the opportunity to move to Dusseldorf Germany where she pursued her passion for Communications with several multinational companies including Price Waterhouse Management Consultants.

In SOM Helen takes care of the PR and Communications area. A qualified TEFL teacher/trainer she also pursues studies in HR Management Development. Married to Joe they share varied interests which include philosophy, music, travel, and maintaining their European connections.

Thomas Orths, International Partner

1986-1991

Study and Diploma in Visual Communication, working as Art Director in leading advertising agencies in Düsseldorf

1991 – 1995
Direct Sales - Recruitment and Training of distributors for a European organisation, forming a strong sales and leadership team in D, A, CH, FR, I, B, NL

1995 – 1998
of an event marketing agency in Europe, promoting international Speakers on Leadership and Personal Development events in Brussels and Milan. Cooperating closely with the US, UK and the Headquarter in NL, he is responsible for the German speaking countries, developing a client database of 4.500 participants.

1998-2003
Headhunted to become Managing Director of the German branch of SI Corporate Development Ltd. in London, he is certified as a Performance Coach, specialising in Mindset Change and Leadership. He implements attitudinal and skills based Management programmes in the German speaking markets (D-A-CH). Supervising his focused team of coaches and account managers they transfer the programmes successfully into the German culture.

2003
To offer more flexible solutions for his clients, designed to their needs in strategic organisational development, he founded his own company, the WinLearnChange Ltd with offices in Germany and in the UK. He works with an additional global network of specialists as well as remaining an associated partner of the SI Group.

He can work bilingual, in German and English as a consultant, facilitator and coach, and has a deep understanding of corporate and organisational development, and is an experienced
Keynote-speaker fascinating large audiences.
